Your recorded TV shows are in a format called DVR-MS and are under the
C:\Documents and Settings tree, unless you've set another drive to be your
storage drive.

You can use the free dCut or DVREdit to remove the commercials from that
show, making it fit better on a DVD. Or you could use a different burning
program that may find a way to shrink it to fit...

Hey Everyone,

I have record several shows on my XP MCE box and i would like to either
put
them on dvd or just move them to one of my other computers.

Does anyone know where media center stores the recorded tv shows and what
file format it is in.

Or do anyone know how to record a file saved in MCE that is larger then
the
dvd i am using, ie i have a 1 hours 15min show and my 4.7g dvd disc will
not
hold it.

thanks

lee
