As far as I know, there are no plans to support hybrid cards at any point. If by QAM, you're looking for direct digital cable/satellite support, that won't happen until Vista releases with OCUR support. MCE 2005 will only do HDTV over the air. Vista will do it via CableCard and there are plans to support DirecTV/Dish directly at some point after the Vista release.

I have another post where I am looking for an OTA & QAM digital only tuner
but I haven't had any suggestions yet.
Will Rollup 3 allow hybrid cards? They seem to be ok in plain XP.

It won't handle a hybrid card, but you can put in an analog tuner and an HDTV tuner. That it will handle. In fact, it will handle two of each with Update Rollup 2.

I found Picasa is better for pictures and Musicmatch Jukebox is better for
mp3s. But I liked the video system.
Now I find MCE cannot handle a hybrid NTSC/ATSC video card. So the value is
questionable at best.
How do I delete MCE?
