I need to follow up on earlier post(s) that was closed. It was closed
because an "expert" said there was no problem.

I recently purchased a Media Center Edt. 2005 computer and a Logitech
QuickCam Pro 5000. I properly followed the directions for set up of
the
camera on the computer. However when I tried to log in to Yahop
Messenger
and use the "view webcam" and/or " invite to view webcam" options I
constantly go the error message "THE WEBCAM DOES NOT SUPPORT THE
REQURIED
IMAGE SIZE. SORRY NO WEBCAM WAS FOUND ON YOUR SYESTEM."
Please help me with this issue. Logitech tells me that no webcams work
in
MCE pc's. Is this true? And if not , what webcam works with MCE?
This was the "expert" reply.

I've got a Creative Webcam Pro and a Logitech (don't have the model
right now) that both work fine.
Our problem:
We have been hearing about this webcam problem from users. Similar
problems have been posted at PCPitstop, and Amazon.com. (google search,
baby) Can anyone clarify the underlying difference of the way
Mediacenter recognizes USB webcams?
.
