Re: Secondary Monitor

Since I do not know the make and model number of your Graphics card I can
not go find a user manual for it on the Internet in order to tell you the
exact steps.
You could probably use windows Help for the word - Clone -to find
out how also.
It has been a couple of years since I have used multiple monitors so I don't
remember how it worked with my graphics card.

How do I change to clone mode instead of extended mode? I cannot get it
to
clone?? Thanks.

You are now running your secondary monitor in extended desktop mode
instead
of in clone mode. You can just drag and drop anyghing from you primary
monitor over to the other other display which is probably on the right or
left of your primary display edge.

I am trying to connect my HP Media Center PC to a second monitor, which
is
really my SONY widescreen projection TV. It worked great when I
preliminarily connected it the other day. Today when I connected the
DVI
to
HDMI connections (i.e., PC output to TV input) via the same cable as
before
to install it more permanently, the sound was fine but the only picture
I
get
is the backgroud Desktop picture. There are no short cut icons on the
desktop and no slies, programs or whatever show up on the TV. I have
changed
every primary and secondary characteristics setting on the screen I can
think
of to change and nothing works. I even tried making the TV the primary
monitor and still nothing but the background picture of Windows or
whatever I
set it to be shows up. It even goes to screen saver after the set time
interval. I can even change the desktop picture but no mouse arrow,
icons
or
anything else show up. I have also tried an S-video connection with no
better result. What have I messed up since it worked perfectly the
other
day? Please help. Thanks.
