Snipe
I wanted to watch one program while recording another. I know you need 2With your VCR hooked to your TV tuner you have two tuners. Try hooking up
TV
tuners if you want to record 2 shows at once just like you would need 2
VCRs
if you wanted to record 2 programs at once... But, I did expect to at
least
channel surf during comercials since I didn't need to buy a 2nd TV or VCR
to
do that. ;-)
you VCR using SVHS or component and tuning the VCR to another channel while
your recording and see what happens to your recording. MCE is always
recording the channel it is on, like any DVR does so you have the ability to
rewind and not miss part of a program if your viewing is interrupted. If
want to channel surf with a TVio or replay unit you are in a similar
situation as you find yourself in with MCE, you must change the input on the
TV to use another tuner hook up via the tv's tuner to use it or have dual
tuners in the DVR.
