I used RegEdit to add the entry, restarted the service and everthing was
fine.
Thanks,

If you use TweakMCE to modify the Recorded TV location, the watched
folder
location also needs to be updated to reflect the new Recorded TV location
(I
don't think TweakMCE will automatically do this, unlike changing it in
the
MCE GUI).

Either add the new Recorded TV location (or any other location of your
choosing) in TweakMCE, or add it directly using the instructions that
Gary
posted.

After making the change, either restart the Media Center Receiver
service,
or reboot your computer.

Yes, I used TweakMCE to change the recording location.

Your suggestion doesn't do anything. When I go to the destination you
specified it gives the right drive where the recordings are, but when I
go
to
Show Recordings, it says there are none. There must be some other file
where
it looks for recordings that I didn't save.

If the recorded tv content is on <Drive letter>:\Recorded TV, change
the
recorded tv storage to whatever that drive letter is.

You can do this in Settings, TV, Recording, Recording Storage

If you created a custom Recorded TV storage location, you'd need to
use
TweakMCE to modify this (but chances are, you would have known this
already).

I have to reinstall XP/MCE2005. MyDocuments and MyRecordings are on
a
secondary drive. After the reinstall they are still there but
missing
from
the Recorded TV listing. I know there is a file I should have
copied,
but
could not find it. How do I get these recorded program titles back
into
MCE?
I can just click on them one at a time to play them, so not all is
lost.
