Open a Command Prompt window and enter CONVERT /? This will give you the command line options for CONVERT. Also, see http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/ntfs.php for more information.

What is your file system on the destination drive? NTFS or FAT32? If its FAT32, you can't copy a file that large.

I have 16GB available on C. I need to copy (from network) a 4.5GB file. When
I try to do so, I get the following errors:

Cannot copy FileName: There is not enough free disk space.
Delete one or more files to free disk space, and then try again.
To free space on this drive by deleting old or unnecessary files, click Disk
Cleanup.

Any help would be appreciated!,
