For XP Pro: In Windows Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options, View and uncheck Use Simple File Sharing
For XP Home: The security tab is only visible when booted into Safe Mode and logged in as an Administrator level user. You may need to use the built-in Administrator account.

hello all,.
hope anyone can help me. i have a standalone computer, and i have set diff
users with limited priveledge. but I dont get the tab called security when I
right click any folder while going to the 'sharing and security' botton. Is
it because i am in a standalone computer and dont have a domin?. if this is
so? what can be possible to get this security tab? do I have to download a
virtual server, and then inside it 2 virtual pc ,inside which two operating
system?
please guide me? and if there is there any free trial virtual server which
will be compatible with windows xp home edition as this is the only thing i
got .
help atmost appreciated.
