Lightscribe works fine in MCE 2005. I don't know if it is still available
for download but the Lightscribe group was offering a Lightscribe enabled
copy of SureThing 4SE labeling software. IMO a much better app than the
bundled freebies. Link is here:

Nero's Cover Designer REALLLLLY stinks - ignores transparency in images
so you can't overlap them without some ugly results. It also doesn't work
with PNG images.

Only one computer here has a LightScribe drive, and it came with its own
software for creating the LightScribe disc labels. I don't run Nero 7,
as many users have reported that it breaks some built in MCE 2005
features. As I recall, Nero 6 doesn't have support for LightScribe in
Cover Designer.
