If its compatible with your computer and Windows XP Pro, then it will work with Media Center. Media Center is essentially XP Pro with the MCE bits added on.

It's in an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium, and setup is giving me the error 0x000008E,
which is caused by RAM being defective or incompatible. I was having trouble
finding if it is, and I don't have much time to solve this problem. Does
anyone know? Thanks.
