Re: Xbox 360 Session Terminated

Do you have a second Ethernet card you could try putting in your PC and
testing with?

I've updated my ethernet network driver but still the same. I don't seem
to
have the option to view Link Speed & Duplex settings on it though.

Couple things to try:
- Update your PC's Ethernet card drivers to the latest version available
from your PC OEM's website
- Change your Ethernet card to 100 mbps full duplex if it's set to Auto
Detect or vice versa:
.. 1) Right click My Computer, select Manage, click Device Manager
.. 2) Expand Network adapters; double-click your network card
.. 3) Select the Advanced tab
.. 4) Select Link Speed & Duplex; what is the Value? Try changing
it to
100Mbps/Full Duplex

My Media Centre connects fine with my Xbox 360. It allows me to play
videos
and even use Transcode 360. However once you stop the video or it
ends I
get
a session terminated error stating "Another user or application on
the
Windows Media Centre-based PC has disconnected this device." I am
also
getting network congestion errors but I'm not sure if they are
related
to
this problem.
This problem has only been occuring since I installed the latest
update
recently. Looking at my event logs these are the two errors which
keep
popping up:
Unauthorized window was detect while running the Media Center
Experience,
'ehshell.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services', with
file
name ''.
Unauthorized window was detect while running the Media Center
Experience,
'MCRMgr', with file name 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwwin.exe'.

What is going on and why is it now only happening after the update ?
Thanks
