Do you have an MCE IR receiver and its IR "blaster" installed? Igf not it
will not detect your STB.

I have been trying to setup MCE with the setup wizard, and have run
into a couple of problems (thay may be related) and hoping someone
could help.
When the wizard is trying to automatically setup the TV (through my
hauppauge 150 MCE card) it cannot find my settop box. I have hooked
the STB through the svideo port. I then hooked up through regular
cable for testing purposes, and the setup detected the cable just
fine.
After the wizard was complete I tried to view TV, and got a decoder
error stating decoder either not configured properly or not installed.
I am using the Nvidia Purevideo decoder. I tried to run a DVD and got
the same error, so I deleted the decoder and reinstalled, but this did
not fix the problem. Can someone advise how to troubleshoote this
decoder?
