Hi
The Acer Aspire L200 has an Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1100. Although it is
MCE certified, don't fight too much with that card, it has lots of
problems with MCE2005.

If it is a hybrid analog/DVB-T card then MCE will only support the DVB-T
tuner and not the analog tuner and it must have the BDA drivers installed
and an have an MCE compatible DVD Decoder installed.

It looks like this is a model strictly for overseas, Cari. Includes a
hybrid DVB-T and analog tuner.

But, they don't say which one...........

have
plugged in all of te connections correctly. The TV CARD INSTALLED is

TS Capture
Tuner and Video (dvb-T)
in addition to this underthe Sound Video and Game controllers list is:
Audio Codecs
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Video Capture Devices
Media Control Devices
MS Kernel System Audio Devices
M Kernel Wave Audio Mxer
MS Streaming Clock Proxy
MS Streaming Quality Manager Proxy
MS WINMM WDM Audio Compatibilty Diver
Realtek AC97 Audio

The graphics card is the ATI Radeon Express 200 (RS5480) Chipset
The problem is that I cannot get a picture on Live TV. I get snow and
a
bit
of broken sound but thats it I have downloaded Wintv 2000 program
and
can
get a good picture on there, but this time with no sound. Ihave tried
some
suggestions fromanother post to upgrade the drivers for the video card
an
have tried to as best Ican (not sure if i am upgrading to the corrc
drivers)
but still nothing. Ti is driving me crazy. Ay suggestions would be
very
