It sounds like an app that isn't authorized to run over a media extender
connection is trying to run when your user logs in.

In the error log, see if there is mention of the app...

I've been having trouble getitng the xbox 360 to connect to my media
center pc.

I keep receiving an error messege saying "Another user or application on
the
Windows Media Center-based PC has disconnected this device."

I can see My Pictures and My Music through the Windows Media Connect, but
can't resolve my connection issue with the Media Center PC.

From reading through the posts here, I've disabled my windows firewall,
reviewed the Event Viewer logs for something with a time stamp similar to
the
attempted connection, updated my LAN driver and directly connected the PC
and
the Xbox with an ethernet cable, bypassing my router, all with same
result
and error messege.

I've also followed the the 6 or 7 step troubleshooting guide with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Steve
