WMC2005 Problems with remote

Hi there,

I am just starting out with MC2005 after building a new PC and am having a
few problem with the operation:-

I have a bunch of DivX AVI movies i have encoded that will play fine when
using the mouse to select and play them...... BUT when i use the IR remote
to select and play them sometimes the screen goes blank for a second while
its loading them (or a screen refresh).... then the screen comes back and
its says 'Stopped with options to resume, restart etc.... whatever i click
on with the remote (resume, restart) the same happens and get the stopped
screen.... when i then use the mouse it works fine! the remote RX? i am
using the Silverstone one with their latest drivers

Anyone have any clues?
