Please post the contents of your DvcConn.log file from c:\windows here.
Also, please e-mail your network capture to msft_mcx at hotmail and post
back here once you've done so.

Todd,instructions
I have Norton Internet Security 2006, I have opened all the ports I have
found in the various kb articles such as 911728 and followed the
found on Symantecs website from top to bottom. I have also disabled alldirect
aspects of it on many occasions.
I have opened ports on the Linksys router and taken it out of play by
connection of the PC and XBOX. Still the same thing...I get the "Invalidfind
Connection Data" Message on the XBOX 360 when I try to connect. What I
interesting is everytime I boot up my computer I get a notification in thethe
tray in the lower right hand corner asking me if I would like to make a
connection to the new XBOX 360 it has found!!!
I have followed the steps in KB911739 many times...for a while I had to go
through the process in the article just to get the XBOX to not blow past
8 digit code after getting the "Invalid Connection Data" Message. After Itook
deleted the entry under device table (one time only) in the registry it
stopped blowing by the 8 digit code but for each and everything I try I go
back through the steps in KB911739 to ensure nothing is left to chance.
I have a packet capture available that I attempted to email to you...I
a guess at your email address so who knows if you will get the email.[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaCenterPeripheral\DeviceTable\{00

Couple questions:
- Do you have any third-party firewall, intrusion detection, anti-virus,
privacy guard, or parental control software installed on your PC?
- Have you tried all of the steps outlined the following kb article?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911739
If you answer is no to the first question and yes to the second
HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Microsoft/MediaCenterPeripheralplease do the following:
1) Launch regedit (Start --> Run --> "regedit" <enter>)
2) Navigate to
marks3) Right click DeviceTable, select Export
4) In the File name field, type "DeviceTable.txt", including the quote
the(i.e. DeviceTable.txt with double quotes before and after it) and save
into afile to anyplace of your choosing
5) Open DeviceTable.txt in notepad, copy the contents, and paste them

In another thread Microsoft was able to read a packet capture and
