Re: MSI TV@nywhere Plus Tuner Card & Media Center 2005

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I'm assuming you want something inside your compuer (as opposed to external)

Single Tuner
Hauppauge PVR150
ATI TV Wonder Elite

Dual Tuner
Hauppauge PVR500
Nvidia DualTV MCE

There are other choices, but these work well for people

What tuner card do you recommend that is on the cheaper side?

Thanks

There's a good chance that card isn't a supported tv tuner for MCE (the
tuner will work on a computer with Windows XP, MCE, but not with MCE
itself).

It's not on the Designed for MCE list, nor is there any indication on
MSI's
site that it would work with MCE (unlike their other products that they
have
that are compatible with MCE)

I am setting up my first Media Center PC for a client of mine I mostly
build
gaming pcs and buisness pcs. The problem i am having is I can not for
the
life of me to get Windows media center to detect the TV Tuner card. Yet
I
can
use it fine with the MSI Software. I have the latest drivers. Please
Help..
Only thing I can think that might be a lil different then most media
