If you have no lights on the wireless adapter, you may have a faulty unit.
I would call the support number in the information with the unit.

I cannot connect my XBox to my wireless network no matter what I try.
I am using the XBox Wireless adapter, a DLink DI624 Router and they
will not communicate wirelessly.
It works seamlessly via an Ethernet cable but not when the ethernet
cable is unplugged and the USB plugged in (either front or back ports)
I have no activity (red light on the adapter)
The adapter sees my wireless network with the correct SSID but won't
connect (fails the 2nd part of the connection test)
No MAC filtering is enabled on the router and I have tried both static
and Dynamic IP's for the XBox.
I have tried no encryption on the network and it still wont connect to
the network.
Any help would be great as I am beginning to wonder why I spent $170 on
a junk wireless adapter. So much to "out of the box" connectivity.
