Thank you for your time Todd.
My compliments to you and Microsoft for giving me the ability to sit in my
lounge chair in front of the HDTV and control my computer. Simply amazing.
After days (and more hours than I care to admit) of trying to make the
connection, when I heard the television in the other room come alive with the
MCE music, well......
I read that even the computer savy folks are having problems so please bear
with this 'not so techy' farm boy.
Before I go further with the error code let me say that the problems I was
having with connection to the internet seems to be solved. I went back to
the Linksys router and made a few minor adjustments (Had a Linksys Sr tech
rep previously help me set up the software for the router to work with the
Dircway DW7000 system). There could have been problems w/satelite at the
time of my first post. I am not, at this time, having any problems
communicating to the internet or to the Xbox in the other room. I made some
minor changes to the Explorer program ie. added google toolbar.

The following is the last two days entries found under system viewer:
The error at 9:55:38 AM 4/26/2006 happened when I closed MCE on xbox
360. You can see that today the error code Event 10 did not appear. (I
cannot tell you exactly what I was doing at the time the event 10 happened.)
I hope I am not giving information overload by providing all of the following

At the current time, startup of MCE on xbox and computer seems normal
although there are several broken links in the program.

I have the following :WMC 2005 w/roll 2 - (as far as I know, every update
offered)
xbox wireless adapter
Linksys WRT55AG (using A for xbox) (latest firmware)

What started me on this quest is that I cannot select numerous links ie.
Settings/settings shortcuts/help on the tv in other room. When I select
this
link, the screen on tv goes solid blue and within several seconds I'm back
to
the start page or nothing happens at all. While writing this I once was
able
to get this link and after I backed out without changing anything I once
again cannot enter this link. Same applies to computer. Sometimes I will
get the following: Unable to display page.

I have deleted McAfee firewall and privacy program just to get the link
from
xbox to MCE. I have Mcfee AntiVirus but disabled at this time. I have
disabled broswer helpers in Explorer 6.

I use Direcway DW7000 system so was required to set LAN settings to 'use
proxy server for your LAN' and 'Bypass proxy server for local addresses'.
'Automatically detect settings' is not selected. To send this message I
have
had to bypass the Linksys and connect directly to the DW7000. I realize I
probably have other issues. Mention this in case it may pertain to above
