If TV runs thorugh MCE pc to the TV, Is it possible to have the TV Picture
on
the TV screen but also use the PC the same time, surfing the web etc,
without
the monitor picture being shown on the tv screen?
In effect watching TV or a dvd through the PC using TV out on graphics
card
whilst having a different display on the monitor?
This way I could use the PC to surf web and my girlfriend watch tv the
same
time, instead of whatever being shown on the pc monitor always being shwon
on
the tv screen.
It's not supported, and really will probably just frustrate you... If you
already have all the components it can't hurt to try though.
One point... When MCE is maximized, it captures the mouse pointer. You can
get it back by hitting the Windows key on the keyboard. A better workaround
is to not Maximize the MCE window, but to drag it large enough to fill the
TV screen. That way the mouse is free for other apps.
