Click Start, Run and enter CMD, press Enter. At the command prompt type
NET USER <USERNAME>
Where <USERNAME> is the actual name of the user account.

This is probably a simple question, but since it's something I never knew,.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me in letting me know what I can do
to ensure one way or the other that a user ID is an administrator [and I am
referring to whether there is something along the lines of whether it is
noted anywhere in the computer... not just by my testing it by trying to see
if I can start/stop IIS, etc.
I'd really like to know if it's noted somewhere, please.
thanks a bunch.
