Re: new pc is already not right



You probably want to repost this in a more appropriate newsgroup, this one
is for the particulars of Media Center. Sounds like you need a general XP
Home group (if that is the OS you are using) or perhaps a MD Office or Word
group. When you do repost, you might want to give some more details and
specific error message rather than "or something like that".

Hi,

I have just bought a new pc and it is doing wierd things that makes me
like
my old one so much more.

When I create a new word document and try to rename it it goes on about
the
.doc extension so I have to fiddle about to keep that there. This must be
some kind of set-up issue. Can anyone help?

Another thing is now I keep getting an error message at start up about
mHotkeys or something like that.
