In particular, please check the Application, System, and Security Event
Viewer logs (right click My Computer --> Manage) for any errors
corresponding to the time that you tried to get set up/connected and then
post them here.
Also, please post the contents of your DvcSetup.log and DvcConn.log files
from c:\windows.

i don't have the Xbox 360 wireless adapter or the Linksys A/G routerissues.
BUT - when you say you checked the router and everything was set up
properly, can you verify that the SSID name for A and G are different
and that you are NOT hiding the SSIDs?
have you installed all the updates for MCE 2005 including Update
Rollup 2 and all the subsequent fixes?
What do the logs and event viewer on the PC show?

cheesywith a $100 adapter and I cant get the freakin thing to stream some
video)pictures which is the main reason (along with music - I have tivo for
justI got it!!
So.... I am $500 into a new Xbox360, $100 into an adaptor and $120 into a
new router becuase I read I can do this - and ... nope. Sorry to vent,
darn frustrating!! Aside from the wife getting irratated with the time--
allocation.
