When you find the instructions on the ATI web site for installing MMC for
use with MCE I think you will find that sequence to do things in. I believe
you install the drivers first. I would remove the HD card and its current
drivers and get the SD card working fine first.

Thanks I give it a try. Should I physically remove the HDTV card or can I
just uninstall the drivers? Should I not install the ati MMC until I

the HDTV otherwise the MMC won't see the HDTV? If I run the mce setup for
the
x1800 card how do I setup the HDTV card in mce? Also there are 2 locations
for mce ati entensions one in the MMC and one in a seperate menu. They
look
different should I install one that is seperate from MMC?
This is confusing, it would be nice if ati would write install
instructions
for 2 tuner cards.

I don't have the link to the instructions. After they are working you
can
then install your ATI HD card and its drivers. You will not be able to
make
use of the analog tuner on the HD tuner card in MCE.

I have an ATI aiw x1800xl and an ATI HDTV wonder (2 analog tuners 1
digital
tuner, 2 fm tuners) The ati software (tv player), ULEAD video studio,
pinnacle studio and movie maker 2 all works with all tuners. MCE see
