Re: changing space bar direction

I've been working around PC since the earliest IBM XT's, the company I
worked at had two of the very first Compaq "portable" (weighed 34lbs and had
a 6" monochrome CRT built in), I have been exposed over the years to
literally 1,000's of computers of every shape, size, and OS. I have never
seen a keyboard with (apparently) the backspace key down by the spacebar,
this is obviously a very unique keyboard. I was completely serious when I
made my comment.

More importantly, what does this have to do with Windows XP Media Center
Edition?

look; I have a compaq keyboard, there are TWO spacing bars on the bottom
of
the key board, one of them has an arrow on it pointing to the left, it is
supposed to backspace your typing cursor to the LEFT, the other bar is
plain,
it does not have an arrow on it:(THEY ARE NOT THE ARROW KEYS) It should
move
your cursor to the right when you are typing so you can put a space
between
the words you are typing, Follow me so far???this is a compaq keyboard I
have used it for many years, there is a couple of keystrokes to use to
reverse the function of the two spacing bars. My grandson was playing on
here
and changed them, I take it none of you are old enough to have had one of
these keyboards, so maybe I am wasting my time here?

Maybe the OP is referring to the left an right arrow keys, however, I
have
never heard about them going in the wrong direction.
