Re: changing space bar direction

"OP" = "Original Poster", namely, you.

This problem is unique to your keyboard and its supporting software.
You might get lucky, and someone in this Media Center group has one
or know about them, but you'd probably have better luck asking on
a group that has a higher concentration of Compaq users.

look; I have a compaq keyboard, there are TWO spacing bars on the bottom of the key board, one of them has an arrow on it pointing to the left, it is supposed to backspace your typing cursor to the LEFT, the other bar is plain, it does not have an arrow on it:(THEY ARE NOT THE ARROW KEYS) It should move your cursor to the right when you are typing so you can put a space between the words you are typing, Follow me so far???this is a compaq keyboard I have used it for many years, there is a couple of keystrokes to use to reverse the function of the two spacing bars. My grandson was playing on here and changed them, I take it none of you are old enough to have had one of these keyboards, so maybe I am wasting my time here?

Maybe the OP is referring to the left an right arrow keys, however, I have never heard about them going in the wrong direction.
