I never sae this with my DI-784. You imply that this only started
happening in the past month or so. What changed on your network? Who
is your ISP? What do the logs show?

I have a D Link DI-784 a/g router. In the past month or so, the router loses--

cable internet connection, everything is fine so my modem is ok.
The router has a wired connection to desktop pc. I use the A band for media
center extender (Linksys WMCE54AG) and G band for notebook.
D-link tech support had me disable the A band, and run the extender on the G
band. It works ok and I do not lose connection, but do not understand why the
use of the A band is causing problems. I've been using it since April '05
with few problems, so why did this just start? I think I have a bad router,
and should be able to do this the way I want to do it instead of just
bypassing something that isn't working.
Has anyone had any conflicts using both A and G together?
