Does anyone here use the Roslyn version of the PVR-250 card? Are you using
your soundcard inputs for audio, or the RCA jacks on the PVR-256 card?
You should be connecting the audio jacks to the PVR-250 card. Can you
confirm
that the cable box is outputting audio & that the cable is OK?
Yes. I swapped cables with the same result. Same cable and output going to
my TV produces proper audio.
The sound I get from MCE, etc. is the same "snow" static sound you get when
you put an older TV to a non-existant TV channel.
I'm going to do some more tinkering this weekend with drivers, etc. to see
what I can figure out.
