AFAIK there is no such beast as a Hauppauge Hybrid WinTV Nova-T. There is a
WinTV-HVR-1300 MCE which has an on-board MPEG2 hardware encoder & there is a
WinTV-HVR-1100 MCE which is cheaper as it uses a software MPEG2 encoder. So
which of these do you have?
Is it impossible for you to receive DVB-T (Freeview) in your area? Even if you
require an aerial upgrade & signal booster it is far better than analogue both
in quality & in numbers of channels available.
