You should use the stock Linksys firmware; however, if you absolutely have
to have the functionality found in 3rd party firmware revs, you should try
the tofu firmware... I've been using this with no problems on the Xbox and
Media Center Extenders.
You can get the tofu firmware revs from http://polarcloud.com/tofu
For the sake of troubleshooting, get it working on the stock firmware first,
then get the 3rd party firmware afterwards.
