If you want to use a third party firewall software, the onus is on you, not
Microsoft, to ensure that the third-party firewall doesn't interfere with
MCE operations.

If you were happy with MCE before installing Norton, but are unhappy after
installing Norton, why are you directing your anger at Met. The problem is
clearly caused by Norton. The solution is just as simple...

If you want to set up recordings manually it is quite possible....
- My TV;
- Recorded TV;
- Add Recording;
- Channel and Time
- Set it up just like a VCR, but you get to name the programme too :-)
While we're on the subject of missing channel data, when are we going
to see data for Sky channels....
108 - Sky 3
114 - Living TV 2
128 - Paramount Comedy +1 (+0 data is there, just add an hour, you
muppets)
188 - Reality T V+1 (+0 data is there, just add an hour you muppets)
256 - UKTV G2 + 1 (+0 data is there, just add an hour, you muppets)
271 - FX +2 (+0 data is there, just add two hours, you muppets)
286 - More4 + 1 (+0 data is there, just add an hour you muppets)

flaky to
set up and maintain. The lack of help coming from Microsoft as it is
an OEM
product is not helping their cause either.
