Media Center and DELL 9150

Hi all,
I've been reading through this news group to see if I could solve this
but have had no luck so far. Maybe someone can help me?
First of all my computer is a DELL 9150 with Dual Core Pentium D820
processor, 1 GB RAM and RADEON X600 256MB HyperMemory video adapters. I
have no clue as to what my TV Tuner card is, but its the standard DELL
DUAL TV tuner.
My issue is that the TV quality is poor (a bit fuzzy and watching any
sports it blurs and is difficult to watch...). What I have read it
sounds like a TV Tuner issue most likely and the first thing I wanted
to do was to upgrade my TV Tuner drivers but I cannot find it listed in
the Device Manager. So I tried using EVEREST trial version and went
thorugh everything to no avail.
So I tried other things instead even though I think its the TV Tuner.
So...
1. Tried to upgrade video drivers from DELL, no help.
2. Tried to update CODEC's with no improvement to quality.
3. I upgraded to Catalyst 6.2 and quality was still poor, however this
then caused (what seems to be a common problem) the issue where the
screen goes black in full screen and you just get the flashing cursor.
The only way I could fix that was to re-install the DELL supplied
drivers for the RADEON X600 adapter (ie, video drivers).
4. So other than the MPEG-2 converter (which plays DVD's just fine) I
have to assume the TV Tuner.
So...do you concur or should I try something else? And does any know
what the DELL dual TV tuner card is? Anyone have on and what is the TV
quality like for you?
Thanks,
Chris
