Hi
I use ATI Catalyst Control Centre - this is currently showing the desktop
area being 1152 x 648.

Your Samsung has no idea where the input video is coming from so if you.
send resolutions that your user manual says it will accept over HDMI via a
DVI-adapter or cable your samsung will accept it. I suggest you try 720p
which is 1280x720@60Hz My Samsung has no problem with that over DVI.
Many HDTV manufacturers claim they don't support PCs over DVI. What they
really mean is that they don't support all the resolutions over HDMI/DVI
that a PC monitor does. They usually only support 480i, 480p, 720, and
1080i, (and recently) 1080p or some subset of these.
Both NVIDIA and ATI cards and drivers are capable of providing these
resolutions.

Hi
I've been using an HDMI input to the TV, Samsung say that this will never
work. I've therefore tried just using a normal monitor SVGA cable, and
disconnecting the HDMI lead. However, when I reboot the machine I get the
windows splash screen, but then when it loads up the TV shows the message
"Mode not supported". Surely this must support a basic pc connection,
then I
think there is better adjustment options when connected this way.

If you have your picture size setting set to PC Wide it will
automatically
put a border around all images just the way a normal PC monitor does
untill
you adjust it You need to set the Pcutre size setting to TV wide or
better
yet to Expand mode if it is available over the interface you are using at
the resolution you are using.

Hi, I'm tearing my hair out trying to get a full size image on my new
TV,
I'm
using an HDMI connection, but have about an 1" black border all round
the
screen. Elonex have washed their hands of it, and say that it's
Samsung's
issue - Samsung say that this TV will not show a PC full screen. They
say
it
is a TV, not a PC monitor, but the way it's sold they advertise it as a
PC
monitor too!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
