Re: Column: Burn, Archive, and Share Digital Videos Using Windows XP M

If you have Sonic, then in theory you can burn in Media Center - they use
the same SonicEncoders burn engine. So it works in the Sonic app but fails
when done in Media Center? I'd talk to Sonic and see what they say...

New HP Media Center M-7360n here. Just got it 01/29/06. XP SP2 with MCE
2005
Update Rollup 2 ver. 5.1.2715.2773. [Thank you GARY TSANG for the link you
provided explaining how to figure out correct version!]

When burning 60 minute of TV recorded in MC to DVD-R it shows a burn up to
around 33%, this takes hours, and then one is rewarded for the wait with
this
message: "An error has occurred in creating the CD/DVD."

HP support has me burning in Sonic, but proposed no solution for burning
in
MC. Any ideas anyone?
