Re: MCE DVD burning - how does it work? how can it be faster?



I'm not sure about the PAL issue, but the software that isn't installed a
3rd party app called the Sonic encoder, which most MCE PC makers include
with their systems. If you build your own system, you won't have this as it
is not part of the MCE software from MS. Sonic does not sell it as a retail
product unfortunately. However, if you search the web for
"sonicencoder.msi", you will find copies available for download. As to the
legality of this - well, that's a separate discussion. Once you install the
Sonic encoder, you will see the Video DVD option.
