Re: Possible to NEVER get loss of signal with Live TV???

I assume you've updated the drivers for your tv tuner card?

I see the MCE2005 loss of signal problem in lots of postings. I have

Everyone seems certain it has nothing to do with cable signal strength.
Saved me time adding an amplifier and doing some re-cabling. Only
other thing that seems to help is the suggestion to defrag the hard
drive which I've done. It seemed better for 2 days and now this
morning, another blue screen...low data rate....loss of signal error
message as described in many postings.

Does anyone have ANY other ideas what might help or is this something
we all just live with?? Is anyone able to successfully watch live TV
with MCE2005 and a similar system setup most if not all of the time?
