Linksys Media Center Extender - Video playback issue


After two days of troubleshooting, and installing a new Linksys router
to replace my perfectly good Netgear router, I can now access my
recorded TV from my MCE2005 PC on my new Linksys Media Center Extender.
*But* it?s not playing at full screen ? the video is being squished
horizontally (with black bars on the right and left side) when played
back via the Extender.

I have a standard 27? Sony Triniton tube-television. The Extender menus
are full-screen, and the video playback is great, full-screen on my 17"
flat screen PC monitor ? it?s just the recorded video playback (and
Live TV) on the TV via the Extender that?s getting squished. I cannot
find any information about this anywhere. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Other details:
Same problem via both RCA and S-video outputs on the Extender; I tried
all inputs on my TV... same thing.
