What is the native resolution of the LCD? If it is fairly high then the
problem may be being caused by the upscaling of the SD TV video to the
native resolution of the LCD and it will make a difference if you are doing
this in the PC or in the LCD TV. If in the PC the PQ of the upscaled video
depends highly on the video card and DVD decoder.
