Actually, you can edit Media Center recordings with the right software.
There's a few free ones at www.thegreenbutton.com and I use Video ReDo Plus
from www.videoredo.com. I have heard of others too, such as the Sonic MyDVD
and/or Nero Vision Express. I bet you could "frame grab" a movie from
MovieMaker using a regular screen capture program but I'll admit I haven't
tried it.
