Re: No sound while watching live TV

I only covered the case where you were inputing the TV programs from a STB
to your MCE system's TV tuner card via S-Video and therefore you also have
to input the TV programs audio into your TV Tuner card's sound input. I did
not cover the case where the source of your TV programs is from and antenna
or cable wall outlet that is connected directly to your TV Tuner card.
In either case of the above cases the sound output is from your onboard
sound system and since it appears to work with music and video. If it works
with these and and with DVDs then it should work with TV programs as long as
the sound from the TV porgram is getting into your system.
It could of course be a problem with you rTV tuner card or its drivers.
What model Tuner card do you have?
