TV won't resume PLAY after using REW or FWD

My MCE system has trouble going back to PLAY after using the REW or FWD
features.

The video (just tv show, not entire computer) will freeze. The audio will
go for a few seconds, then it stops too. Then nothing. I have to hit STOP,
then RESUME, and all works again as long as I don't REW or FWD.

SKIP and REPLAY work fine, as does PAUSE and every thing else.

I'm using the following...

InterVideo WinDVD 7 for my decoder software
ATI x700 PCIE video card
ATI TV Wonder Elite tuner card

Any ideas???
