The Device Instance that my brother was talking about should be something
like this
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0052&SUBSYS_815A1043&REV_A2\3&2411E6FE&0&09

It's found under the Details tab of almost all devices (within the
properties of the Device within Device Manager)
That information should lead you to exactly what the device is (the location
itself doesn't do much, but tell you that it runs off the PCI bus)


I assume you've installed all the appropriate INF files for your chipset?
