No, as it does not come with a receiver, just the keyboard. And if you're using one or two set top boxes, you need the IR outputs that are provided by the blaster, unless they exist on your motherboard.

The Philips or MS remotes come with an IR receiver/blaster combination. The Philips comes with one IR emitter, the MS comes with two.
