"mark as read" feature for Recorded TV

Hi
Alright, here it goes. This might seem crazy but.....
I know I can't be the only one with a spouse who travels for work every week
and watches television on a different "schedule" than I do. If I somehow had
the ability to mark the programs I've watched already (but have chosen to
keep), it would make it far easier for the two of us to determine what
neither of us have seen.
I'm thinking of this in terms of email... I use Outlook 2003 and I
constantly use the "mark as read" and "mark as unread" feature.
Also, Outlook 2003 has another great feature in which you can add a colored
"flag" to a message (or a group of messages) - different colors can be used
to denote different things (or users for what I'm thinking in the Media
Center 2005 Recorded TV list... each user could mark a television show with
their respective flag color to denote that they have watched the televsion
program).
Does anyone know if there is some sort of add in that would allow you to
say, right click on a Recorded TV program in the list and choose an option
like "mark as read" or flag it in some other way?
THANKS!
