MCE weird problem

I have MCE 2005 it will open fine and will work fine watching a program.
However if I try to go back to the guide the whole screen freezes (the
actual video looks like it gets caught in a loop during transistion) but the
window with video usually on the bottom continues to play normal If I click
back on the remote the video goes back to normal (full screen) but same
thing happens going into the guide again. essentially can't use any buttons
on remote other then channel up and down.. that works to change the channels
just fine. Any ideas?


System Specs.
P4 3.2Ghz when this happens the CPU is at about 30% load
1 GB Ram
Intel 875 chipset
Geforce 6600gt with 72.14 drivers ( does the same thing on 71.84, 71.89,
77.72)
ATI HDTV Wonder (also tried Avermedia A180 does the same thing and has more
issues with stuttering)
Audigy 2zs
Nvidia Decoder 1.00.67 (tried the newer one 1.02-150) same issue

Evga Nvtv tuner for analog which I really don't use. I just want the Hdtv
portion.
