Re: Plasma Resolution

I need to make a trip to the cord store...

Actually I am connecting VGA male to VGA male. The Samsung has a female VGA
and a mini stereo jack input for audio.

I found that by doing an interesting work arounds, I can make it work, but
it doesn't stay working, leading me closer and closer to a backyard deck
launch of 1500 dollars worth of imported crap.

1. If I set the Media Center to load when windows starts, and then
uninstall the x300's video driver and restart, Windows tells me my video
card doesnt support Media center. The found new hardware baloon pops up
saying its found my video card, the Radeon x300, and I let it run until it
tells me my new hardware is ready to use. Then I just shut the initial
"doesnt support Media center" message using the X, not the ok.

>From that point I go to Display Properites/Settings/Screen Resolution and it
gives me the wide screen option of 1280x720. I select it and go into the
media center to take care of business. However, when the screen saver comes
on, or if I switch out of media center by minimizing or closing it, my
desktop reverts back to 1024x768. Perhaps the different display mechanism
coming into play.

trying to keep breathing. I like it when stuff just works, especially
semi-expensive stuff.
