Does this mean your Xbox with the Extender software is connected back to the
your network via wireless? If so, please try temporarily moving it to a
pure a wired connection.

I can think of three possibilities based upon your description:
- Something funky is happening with your wireless network
- Something funky is happening with the network adapter in your new PC
- Some software on the new PC is interfering with the timely transmission of
data
