How do you delete a channel?

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Unbelievable. All I want to do is delete a channel and I've spent the better
part of my day trying to do so (taking time off of work at $1.50 a minute). I
tried automatic guide setup, manual setup, etc. At one point, it allowed me
to add and remove channels. But, a few channels into it, it went away and I
haven't been able to get it back up again. I've gone through every menu
option so many times, I have it almost completely memorized. As is, it pulled
up my cable TV listing for my area, but I don't have one of the channels and
every time I go past the empty channel, I get feedback noise that could cause
a corinary.

Any reasonable person would think that as your going through channels and
came to one you wanted to deleted, you could just right click and choose
delete channel. But, NOOOOOOOOOO! If there was a competition for the most
frustrating user interface on the planet, I would certainly cast my vote for
Media Center.
