Standby

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

This is not a Media Center Specific question, but I would like some help.
I am using a dial-up (AOL) connection on this computer, and I would put it
in standby mode at night, but first the AOL Dialer program disconnects from
the internet. Is there anyway that I can stay connected during standby?
