Re: HP DEC CONFLICT W/LINKSYS EXTENDER

Haven't gotten anything new to add. Sat on hold with Xbox Live until my
phone died. Spoke with HP again and they never said anything about CPU
usage, just that the Extender program doesn't account for the high temps that
HP's DECs are set up to run at and that they are working with them to
resolve. As for the HP Extender that Lizard spoke of, well, it's been
discontinued by HP. Wonder why . . . Support at HP couldn't tell me, but I
have an idea.
Anyway, Lizard, sorry to say I'm going to bail on the HP z545 and send it
back while I can. Great concept, but I get a wee bit concerned when my PC is
running at a 120+ degrees F.
Todd, I ran the utility you wrote about and here is what it came up with
(lot more than I can understand). Hope it helps Lizard out (but if you do
find a solution, I'm not going to be happy about ditching the DEC).
Good Luck, Ed
